Executive Director

Inyangat James Peter

The Executive Director holds Masters in Accounting and Finance from Cavendish University; Bachelor of commerce accounting Makerere University Uganda, a Diploma in Business studies and Soroti UCC and  ACCA part 1 with 18 years’ experience in Financial  and Project  work in NGO setting. Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day to day implementation of the projects by the organisation, reporting to the BOD and Donors and public relations with external world

 

Finance & Administration Officer

 

Finance and Administration Officer Holds Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting) and Diploma in Business Studies with 5years experience in financial management private sector and NGO setting. She is responsible for ensuring value for money and producing financial reports for the BOD and Donors in line with our policy and international acceptable accounting standards.

 

Project Coordinator

Eunice Juliet Akayo

Currently she is managing and coordinating the implementation of community based project in Amuria District that is focusing on child rights protection, youth and women empowerment using the self-help group approach. At the moment, the project has over 120 self-help saving groups of 15-20 members in which about 1085 women have opened up micro- businesses which have enhanced their income base to support their families. Through their saving groups, the capacity of the members have been built to take up leadership positions and are influencing decisions within their communities and other fora’s.

In regard to child rights protection and Promotion, six child protection committees who are responsible for identification, documentation, reporting, referring and follow up of child abuse cases are functional and are lobbying and advocating duty bearers to address issues affecting the lives of children. Through the youth skilling program,  more than 500  vulnerable youth have acquired various skills in need based trainings and are now able to earn substantive incomes which has enhanced job creation, self-reliance and reduced youth employment.

Health Programme Manager

Ejoku Julius Emokol

Health programme Manager holds Masters in public Health, Bachelors in public health and a Diploma in environmental health sciences with 17 years of experience in maternal health, HIV/AIDS, WASH and Advocacy programming in both NGO and Local Government setting. He is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, reporting the project activities in the organization.

Esther is Young dynamic staff of Vision Terudo with a certificate in enrolled nursing working closely with the youth and mothers on maternal issues and HIV/AIDs programmes

 

Project Officer Sponsorship & Child Development

Ebajut David

Bachelor’s degree of Development Studies from Makerere University (MUK)

Ebajut David is a child rights advocate with a great passion for children. For over five years, he raised pertinent issues that affect the wellbeing of children in Teso.

David has worked with different duty bearers to ensure that community members play their roles in protecting, and promoting the rights of children while creating a safe environment for children to live in. Through those engagement, the lives of over 3000 vulnerable children have improved. The parents are now responsible and providing the basic needs to children.

In addition, as a child rights advocate, he mobilized communities and school management committees to support the learning of their children both at school and home which helped to increase the retention and performance of over 2,000 children in 40 primary schools in Ngora district.

Project officer Community Development

Opolot Leonard Omucho. 

Project Officer with honors of Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences (Makerere University Kampala) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring & Evaluation (Uganda Management Institute).

Leonard is equipped with a vast understanding of diverse social norms, attitudes and behaviors that prevent violence against vulnerable groups at community and individual levels.  He is equipped with practical abilities and expertise in strategic and operational planning, participatory monitoring and evaluation, community empowerment, advocacy and governance.

Before joining Vision TERUDO, he was previously working as Field Assistant for GIZ-RELAPU project in Asuret Sub County promoting the demarcation of customary land and also conducted several research surveys with various Organizations mainly on health, nutrition, social economic and behavioral change surveys.

Driver

Mukula Emmanuel Arikosi

Emmanuel holds a certificate in Driving and Mechanics. He is in charge Transport and logistics for staff and Visitors and one of the longest serving officer of Vision TERUDO,

Volunteer

Okello Joseph

Holds Degree and Diploma In community development from Kumi University, Diploma in Forestry and Diploma in Rural Industrial setting and Development from India. Joseph plays a key role in establishment of rural community groups for development and training in Project and Financial management.
