Our Founding Story

From the remote community of Omodo in Ngora District, Vision TERUDO set her first foot print to what is now a household name in Teso and beyond. The year was 1982, under a tree where minds of the same vision met and agreed it was time for Teso to rise and walk again, stitching back the shredded lives. In the years, Uganda reeled with the immediate aftermath of wars, Vision TERUDO was with the people, teaching affected households how to cope with livelihood challenges. The Spring of Hope gushed, watering communities with better health, stable livelihoods and a safe environment. Communities have since been supported to adapt farming techniques that build dignity alongside food security, economic empowerment and quality education.
